The spider web pens are being sold as a set, the very rarest in the vintage and the best of the modern limited edition series. 
This is the rarest pattern to collectors and the largest size made in a safety spider overlay. The original is what they based their modern highly successsful  octavian on. They made four in solid gold in 1993 and 4810 in gold filled. .
Overlay to be issued to world famous celebrities, in this case to a patron of the arts, walter carsen. This is fully documented at Mont Blancs headquarters under their Mont Blanc de la Culture" award program. There are French 18 hallmarks all over the pen. Measures 5 1/2 inches closed and 6 1/2 posted. Has an ultra rare double broad nib. Mint and never inked.

.The original safety sterling spider is fully signed with the S signature and 900 on the cap and clip. Measures 5
1/2 inches closed and seven inches posted. Nib is a medium number one simplo nib. One of the few examples known to exist in great condition.

14k octagonal safety with a number six medium flexible nib.It has an alternating hand engraved and barley corn 14 gold overlay and is in near mint condition with the 585 mark and the S signature on the cap. On the turning nob is the 6 OB mark to denote the nib. Beautifully engraved with the original owners name on it. Five inches with cap closed or seven inches with cap posted. Pen is in working condition.
