Caran d’Ache, has created a masterpiece of elegance and finesse in combining the most precious materials - Chinese lacquer, rhodium and a black diamond - in a totally modern design.

The depth of the black is highlighted by the silver-plated, rhodium-coated metal decorated with elegant guillochage in the lines.This is punctuated by the flash of a black diamond, 2mm and 0.033 carats, set into the clip.

The collaboration between the Swiss architect, Mario Botta, and Caran d'Ache is part of a long tradition. The company has always embraced current trends in architecture, particularly with such legendary pens as La Gotica and La Modernista.

The Mario Botta has graceful, minimalist design and cylindrical shape. Created in Mario Botta's pure, contemporary style, it is crowned with a genuine peacock feather( which is attached by a magnet and can be easily removed)

Peacock Feather
Genuine peacock feather from peacock farms in India. Feathers dropped by the birds are collected, washed and sterilized in steam (100°C). Detachable, fixed with a magnet. Peacock feathers are delicate and should be handled carefully. No special maintenance is required.
