Platinum produced Maki-e pens with rough volcanic surfaces. This was accomplished by spreading dry lacquer powder over the surface and re-lacquering This was enhanced by ancient gold coin motifs, mountainscapes, noh masks etc. This pen is in excellent condition with 14k Platinum nib. Plunger type filler.
