The mastery of Old World craftsmanship is present here in three engraved dimensions: the high relief ice pattern is defined by cutting away surrounding metal, creating the background. The pinstripe guilloche is etched into the background, and lastly, the frost patterns are directly engraved. The enamel is layered on by quill and fired at over 1,000 degrees, each with rhodium vermeil trim.
